This is an excellent illustration of the use of our resources and how our general economy functions based on our resource use. When you look closely at how we use our resources, that make our products, you can begin to see that without responsible management of our resources, we are actually putting our monetary economy at risk.

In fact, if you think about it, without the resources, we actually may simply destroy our ability to have a functioning monetary economy. Think about it. If we pollute too much, or overuse resources, we don't have those resources anymore. If we don't have them, then what is there to support our monetary economy?

Let's face it. We like our relatively luxurious standards of living. If we want to maintain that, we need to think how to live sustainably in a world that has limited resources.
