Everybody is busy with 'diets' - concepts about what one should, or shouldn't eat…. TV-ads show 'convenient' food and drug ads tell consumers how to control side effects resulting from bad foods, habits and lifestyle. But that is not the way to good health. The basic healthy diet is is more a relationship between the body, the mind, and the food. And yes, the basic has to be right: good quality ingredients – real food versus processed foods with chemicals that are indigestible. Our bodies know how to deal with real food but certainly not how to deal with 'fake' food that is just clogging up the system. Real food makes us satisfied after a meal, no cravings for more. And, food is about enjoying, it is about taste, it’s sensual. Food 'isn’t' about calories and rules. In order for food to be satisfying, it needs to be enjoyed and flavorful. Trying to find the right balance that gives you energy, and makes you feel light and all warm and fuzzy is part of changing your mind about what food is and what is healthy. Enjoy the 'making of', enjoy the meal!
